Nicotine dependency is a physiologic and psychologic addition. The body is physiologically addicted to the nicotine and the mind is addicted to the ritual. Both aspects are addressed in a customized individual quit plan for each participant.
Quitting smokeless tobacco is a lot like quitting smoking. It often requires a multi-pronged approach with cessation counseling, medication and willpower.
